What is actually left after FBA fees?
Enter the price and the fees you were quoted. The payout and margin are calculated per unit, not per shipment.

What goes into the payout
The calculator subtracts four variable costs from the selling price: the referral commission (a percentage of the price), the fulfilment fee per unit, an inbound freight allowance per unit and a storage allowance per unit. Advertising is optional and entered as a percentage of the price so it scales with the sale.
Product cost is subtracted last. The result is the net payout per unit and the share of the price that fees consume. The fee share is often the most useful number because it is comparable across products of different prices.
Which inputs must be yours, not a default
Fulfilment and storage fees depend on size tier, weight, season and marketplace, and they change. The default values here are placeholders for a small standard unit, not a quote. Copy the current fee from your Seller Central fee preview or the published rate card for the exact marketplace and month before making a pricing decision.
Referral commission also varies by category and can have a minimum. If your category is not 15%, set the real rate.
Using the output for pricing
Raise the price in the calculator and watch the margin percentage: because the referral fee scales with price while the fulfilment fee does not, margin usually improves faster than the price at low price points. Use that to find the price where the margin covers your fixed costs rather than the lowest price the market will bear.
If the net payout is negative, no ad strategy or volume plan fixes it. The unit has to change — lower cost, higher price, smaller packaging or a different fulfilment route.
Frequently asked questions
Are these real Amazon fees?
No. They are editable estimates. Amazon publishes fee schedules per marketplace and updates them; always enter the current figure for your size tier.
Why is storage entered per unit?
It keeps the calculation per-unit. Divide your expected monthly storage cost by the units you expect to sell in that month to get an allowance.
Does the calculator include returns?
No. Add the expected return cost to the product cost or the other-cost field if returns are material for your category.
Can I use it for FBM?
Yes. Set the fulfilment fee to your pick-and-pack cost and the inbound allowance to zero.
